A big part of our mission is medical sponsorship of shelter animals in need. Oftentimes, outside animal advocacy and rescue groups are the only lifeline for these animals, as shelters simply don't have the financial resources for their care.  Since beginning our new mission in April, 2015, Tails of Hope has provided medical assistance to 185 shelter animals, to the tune of almost $30,000.

In honor of National Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog Month, we wanted to share the stories of 12 of these animals, for whom Tails of Hope has made medical donations.  In each case, volunteer dedication and TLC made the difference between life and death. 

 

In order to continue to help animals like the ones below, our coffers could use a little TLC and replenishment.  If you'd like to help, you can make a donation to help cover the costs for any of the furry faces, below.
