Spencer was discovered in a Kentucky animal shelter with a gunshot wound to his right leg.  A local rescue group worked to get him out of the shelter, and to been immediately evaluated by a vet.  Spencer underwent surgery to remove his right hind leg, which was so badly injured as a result of a gunshot wound that it could not be saved. Tails of Hope donated $250 towards this surgery.

 

Spencer came through surgery with flying colors and fully recovered.  The loss of his leg didn’t slow Spencer down at all, and today, he is the newest member of a family.  He has a big back yard perfect for a hound, and has a furry brother to play with. Much love in your new life, Spencer!
