We know we’ve been asking for a lot lately (and boy, have you come through for us!), but we have one final push to make The Big Fix 2.0, November 6, Eufaula, AL,  a success!  Our goal is to raise $22,000 to fund this event, which will provide spay/neuter surgeries for at least 125 cats and dogs, along with vaccinations, microchips, and pet food for the community. Here’s where we stand:

 

• $10,000 from the National Humane Education Society

• $2,700 raised at our Bake Sale this past weekend

• $5,000 in matching funds from a private donor

 

That brings us to $17,700, leaving us just $4,300 short of our original goal!

 

But here’s the thing: our waiting list has grown from 125 to 150 animals! We raised an extra $700 at the Bake Sale, and we'd LOVE to stretch those dollars far enough to help every single animal on that list. More animals helped means more litters prevented, more suffering avoided, and more families getting the support they need. That's why we’re here!

 

So, we've come up with one more way to get this done. Below are 20 of the 150 animals already signed up for The Big Fix 2.0. We've assigned each one a sponsorship amount, and if we can get all 20 sponsored, we'll reach our fundraising goal and be able to help everyone on the list!

And to our amazing Bake Sale supporters: THIS IS NOT ANOTHER ASK FOR YOU TO DONATE! You already rolled up your sleeves, baked up a storm, braved the chilly weather, and helped us raise $2,700. Those funds are going directly toward The Big Fix 2.0, and we are incredibly grateful. We wouldn't dream of asking you to give again!

 

Instead, we're hoping to reach some new friends—those who've been meaning to support our work, have followed our animal-welfare adventures from the sidelines, or simply haven't had the opportunity to jump in before.
