We do not have a facility at this time. Our rescued animals are placed in foster homes or stay temporarily in a kennel until they are adopted.
Please attend one of our adoption events to meet these great animals in person...or...call/email to set up a time to visit. We do not let anyone go to our foster homes without an approved application first.

It generally takes one to two weeks to fully process a submitted application. The volunteer who will be processing your application will contact you by email. Please email that volunteer at any time if you have questions or concerns. If the animal you are hoping to adopt is adopted prior to completion of your application, you will be notified. Please be patient during this process, as we are all volunteers.
You must be at least 21 years old to sign our contract. Please do not allow children to submit an application.
If you adopt a cat or dog elsewhere, please let us know as soon as possible.
We will not adopt animals outside our geographic area.
Dogs adopted from Tails of Hope will be required to attend a positive reinforcement, basic obedience class in the adopter's area.
***Invisible Fence is only considered on a limited basis and will not be approved for many dogs. We NEVER adopt Hounds, Bully Breeds or dogs under 40 lbs. to homes with Invisible Fence.
NO application will be considered for a dog where there are young children AND no fencing. We will consider homes with adults and no fencing, depending on the dog.
Small dogs are not typically good with young children and are considered on an individual basis.
NO puppies or small dogs will be placed in homes with toddlers.
Our Adoption fees:
Kittens, up to 6 months, $135
Kittens, 6 months to 1 year, $125
Cats, 1 year and over, $110
Puppies, up to 6 months, $250
Dogs,6 months to 5 years,$200
Dogs, 5 years and over, $175
The fee includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations,deworming, feline leukemia/feline immunodeficiency virus testing forcats, and heartworm testing for dogs over 6 months of age.
