Sandy is a beautiful, golden eyed, cream colored tabby who was brought into the shelter when he was approximately 4 months old. He came in with a wound and since he was a stray, no one could say how the wound occurred. Even though it was probably a puncture wound caused by a stick or wire, according to Health Department laws, this kitten would not be eligible to be put up for adoption, and needed to be quarantined for six months. Tails of Hope, a trusted rescue with the shelter, was asked to take in this kitten. One of our wonderful volunteers offered to do this, otherwise the shelter would have had to euthanize this very sweet little boy. Luckily, he passed his quarantine with a clean bill of health and is now eligible for adoption.
Sandy presently is living at the Cattery and although he likes being able to walk around and play, he would much rather have a family of his very own.
Sandy is being fostered in the Columbia area.
