Cassie is a wonderful older girl. A very easy keeper. She has always been a good dog, well housebroken, good house manners, and has suddenly found herself homeless when her owner was sent to prison. She loves going for car rides, likes children, other dogs, really everyone she meets, and she is now confused as to where her happy home has gone. She would be so happy to once again have a happy home and would do everything in her power to be your best friend. All she needs is a chance. She would move quietly and happily into your life like she had always been there. No fuss from Cassie, just unconditional love with every beat of her heart.
PERSONAL UPDATE FROM FOSTER:
She really likes just being with someone and having company. She loves walks and to run around a bit. She has a little arthritis, but the vet is not too concerned, and says she can be put on pain medication if she appears very sore but so far I haven't see much, only when she really overexerts herself. She is a great companion dog and also a good watch dog, barking at unfamiliar noises. I find her a comfort to have around. She's a very easy keeper, as she just likes being with you..
